It’s been a while, I know. In addition to revamping my site, I’ve been busy working on and recording new material. I’ve decided to repurpose the ‘posts’ section to highlight new material. (Wish I could take credit for the concept. That goes to my clever niece .. thanks for the idea, Julianne!)

I will periodically post new recordings here as well as post them in the ‘Music Den.’

So … the first for 2016 is a song I heard about 2 years ago. (Yes, it’s a cover) I heard this guy (Kelly Joe Phelps) one day on Pandora and instantly grabbed by his smooth slide-style, clever lyrics, and the simple, clean production of his recordings. It’s my first deep-dive into playing slide and it’s been a blast working on it. A little ‘rough’ but with some more practice …..  Anyhow, the song is called ‘Lead Me On‘ – written by Kelly Joe Phelps and was released in 1994 (Burnside Records)
